Summer Advanced
AI Robotics Program
2025
Build real AI-enabled robots designed by Silicon Valley roboticists for Silicon Valley students.
Last year we gave all students a fantastic, yet safe in-person experience. This year, our goal is to provide an unforgettable summer filled with excitement and adventure.
Why join Evodyne's
Summer Advanced Robotics Program?
In-person or via Zoom, each student builds their own advanced robots completely from scratch while learning programming and computer science, AI and GPT, electronics and electricity, mechatronics and mechanical engineering, 3D printing and 3D design.
Program Benefits
-
Class recordings available after every session
-
Certification for everything learned and built
-
All robots included in program cost
-
Take your robot home once built
-
Continue learning even after program ends
Congratulations To 2024 Evodyne Graduates!
What Parents Say
He is really enjoying exploring the robotic arm and everything he learned in your class. He enjoys working on it everyday on his own, trying new ideas and really persisting till it works!
Thanks so much again!
Archana U.
She really enjoyed the way you taught the class and had fun building and programming the robotic arm. She is looking forward to the next class.
Anu K.
He was excited about the Robotics class he took with you a few weeks ago, and he wants to sign up for the Advanced Robotics if you still have a space for him. Please let me know what I need to do to register him!

Can We Attend Via Zoom instead of In-Person?
Yes, our In-Person Summer Program is offered and conducted identically over Zoom.
Robotic kits are shipped to you in advance of each new session.
Zoom students see the exact same live instruction and content at the same time as the in-person students.
Our system also allows for day to day flexibility between In-Person and remote, just keep your kit with you.
Where are In-Person Classes Held?
In our awesome downtown Mountain View location!
881 Castro St, Mountain View, CA 94041
-
Street parking right outside the door
-
Opposite Starbucks
-
Close to 85, 237, 101 and 280, El Camino Real and CalTrain

FAQ
What equipment is needed?
A Mac, Windows, or Linux laptop with administrative rights to install Arduino, Python and other programming tools. If you have a newer Mac or Windows laptop with only USB-C ports, you will need a USB-C to USB adapter to be able to connect the Arduino to your computer.
Chromebooks will not work for our program.
Equipment for attending from home?
Besides a Mac, Windows, or Linux computer, students will need:
- Internet Access to download required tools and utilities
- Ability to use zoom
- Thats it, everything else will be provided in the mailed kit.
Which courses are available in this summer robotics camp?
We are offering courses for 3 different experience levels:
- Elite Track for beginners, who want to become an expert. Students will build their own robot arm and mobile manipulator robot.
- Genesis Track for those who have significant experience with Arduino and robotics, or have previously completed the Elite Track. Students will build more advanced realistic robots.
- A one week Advanced Robotics Lab course for older students where they will learn AI, 3D computer vision, and high power mechatronics.
- A one week 3D Design and 3D printing course which you can attend on its own or along with any other track.
What is the class structure?
All classes will meet for 3 hours a day from Monday to Friday. The morning session begins at 10am and will end at 1pm. The afternoon session will start at 2:30pm and end at 5:30pm.
Do we get to keep the robots?
Yes! At the beginning of each course, each student will be given a kit that contains all the supplies to build their own robot. Once it is built, they will take their robots home for continued enjoyment and learning!
What if there is a Covid lockdown announced during summer?
All sessions are available both in-person or over Zoom. If attending in-person, you will have the option to change it to zoom. If you prefer not to attend over zoom, you will be refunded 80% for the missed sessions.
How is covid safety being handled?
We have worked hard to create a safe setup that minimizes risk:
-
Masks are optional
-
Unnecessary huddling will be discouraged
-
We recommend each student bring their own water bottle.
What is the Autonomous Racing Tournament? How do I join?
This is a competition that will be held at the end of the summer session. Students who have built their AI enabled robots will be able to show off their skills and compete with friends!
To join you have to register for part 3 of the Elite Track, where you will build the smart autonomous self-driving robot that you will use to compete!
