Overview

Designed and manufactured in Mountain View, California, the EvoArm robotic arm kit will give you the best deep dive into robotics beginning from low level electronics to high level programming.


Once built,  the arm will be accessible and programmable from your phone, and you can teach it to do things like play the piano, draw on a whiteboard, solve a "real" Towers of Hanoi" problem and whatever else you can imagine! 

 

You can also program the arm using Python or C++ and access the onboard camera to learn and program computer vision activities like face recognition, so it will know when to greet you and you only!  If you want to go even further, the raspberry pi is pre-configured with ROS (Robot Operating System) which is used by practically all modern robotics companies for managing  and controlling their robots. Hint: This means that if you have multiple EvoArms, you could control them together in harmony, or one arm could send control commands to another.

 

The kit comes with build-along lessons  of varying detail, so you can choose to build at your own pace.

Prerequisites
