You will receive our custom robotics kit including an Arduino, which you will build along during the workshop. The content is designed to introduce robotics and electronics concepts in the most intuitive manner in a short amount of time. No prior knowledge of coding, electronics, or robotics is required.
At the end of the session, you will have made a small robot completely by yourself and you will fully understand how it works, including how simple IOT circuits are made on a breadboard, and how to setup and program an Arduino for basic tasks.
After doing this class you may decide if you want to pursue learning robotics more deeply. Adults can choose from build-at-home kits and Build A Robot Arm Workshop. Students 17 and below may choose to sign-up for our continued afterschool STEM Robotics Program or for the highly in-demand Summer 2021 Robotics Program. These programs also function as an internship pathway for high-school students as they prepare college applications.
The class will be taught by our head instructor at Evodyne Academy, who is also the CEO at Evodyne Robotics.

What You Need
A Mac, Windows or Linux laptop with sufficient free disk space. If you have a newer Mac or Windows laptop with only USB-C ports, you must have a USB-C to USB-female adapter so you can connect the Arduino to your laptop.
If you do not have a laptop, we can provide one for you during the workshop.

Evodyne Robotics is a startup building personal and educational robots in silicon valley. The curriculum has been designed by our CEO, and classes are taught by robotics experts with years of industry expertise in designing and building robots from scratch.
